L’Etat “souverain” de l’Arizona versus Washington

Le conflit latent entre l’Etat de l’Arizona et le centre fédéral Washington D.C. a pris un tour dramatique vendredi avec la signature de la loi (SB 1070) très dure anti-immigration de l’Etat de l’Arizona, après un avertissement également très dur du président Obama qui a annoncé qu’il ferait examiner la constitutionnalité de cette loi par rapport aux droits civils. Il y a là un conflit latent entre un Etat de l’Union et le centre fédéral d’une gravité d’autant plus grande que cette loi est un enjeu électoral d’importance.
