Peut-être Steve Clemons ne croit-il pas si bien dire lorsqu’il observe (voir dans Ouverture libre de ce 4 août 2010) que les circonstances actuelles, concernant la possibilité d’une attaque contre l’Iran, ne diffèrent guère de celle de septembre 2007. Ainsi écrit-il notamment : «On top of this, despite the confidence, even eagerness, of the US Air Force to bomb Iran’s nuclear program capacity, the other military services are not so sanguine and fear that the logistics demands for such a military action and its followup would undermine other major operations.» En septembre 2007 (voir le 24 septembre 2007), cette empathie du l’USAF pour une attaque… L’Iran pour sauver l’USAF
